Linen-Raw Silk Scarf (Solid Grey)
Hypo-allergenic, linen and silk fibres are great for warm-weather. The loose weave in this scarf allows for more airflow, and being highly-absorbent, these fibres absorb moisture without your skin feeling damp. This is good if you move a lot between air-conditioned rooms to warm weather as it provides a light warm cover in the former without constantly needing to remove the scarf. This versatile scarf also makes for a good protective cover against sunlight, as it'll leave your cool despite the covering.
A note- linen fibres feel stiff to the touch when new, and gets softer after long use and multiple washes. This is the beauty of handmade goods- they are created to last, and become more "yours" after use over the years. You may see irregularities in the width in the raw silk fibres- this is the natural property of raw silk, where from a silk cocoon both has fine silk fibres that are more even, and raw silk fibres that are irregular in width. It is precisely because of imperfections that the use of raw silk in the weave gives a beautiful texture to the fabric.
